Our corporation has responded to this changing environment and the increasing need for global presence and local flexibility by creating a unique worldwide network of first-class national and international distributors. For this reason, we are today able to serve the world's ten leading retailers in multiple countries on all continents. Distribution capacities in more than 80 countries give us the capability of globally coordinating assortment and product launches while discussing the very local nature of the retail business at the same time.
Simultaneously to facilitate this, production facilities sites have been moved towards the most efficient locations available worldwide. To be able to provide the best quality at the best possible cost, we had to move in the same direction as and now work together with production facilities all over Asia. Benefiting from the know-how clusters that have appeared on the global production site map, we are able to supply our products at a highly competitive cost/benefit relationship. We follow a strategy of creating and maintaining the most efficient relationship between flexible production capacity and complete vertical integration and are fully determined to achieve the best possible outcome in terms of quality and cost in each segment we operate in. We thus partly and wholly own some manufacturing placessites, jointly operate and control others and also simply work together with exclusive and non-exclusive independent 3rd party facilities.
